Monopoly Go x The Simpsons Album Explained: New Gameplay Features, Stickers
While The Simpsons is a large and enduring IP, its collaborations with video games have decreased significantly. The launch of Monopoly Go x The Simpsons may change that.
Now, the moment players have been eagerly anticipating has finally arrived: The Simpsons Go! Album launched on June 3, 2026, and will run until July 29, a total of approximately eight weeks. During this time, Monopoly GO will transform into American town of Springfield, launching a series of exciting new events that go far beyond just a color change.
This collaboration will completely transform the player experience, bringing new maps, collectibles, mini-games, and community activities. The official statement also indicates that this collaboration breaks new ground in many ways, refusing to be conventional. Let's take a look at what new content Monopoly Go x The Simpsons brings.
Battle of the Billionaires
This collaboration will kick off with an exclusive animated short film created by The Simpsons team, revolving around a decades-old feud: a showdown between Mr. Monopoly and Mr. Burns. Scopely has also brought in Will Ferrell to voice Mr. Monopoly and Harry Shearer to voice the iconic Mr. Burns.
This five-minute short film sets the stage for Battle of the Billionaires community challenge, where players must choose sides in this ultimate conflict between ruthless capitalists. The winning side will win big prizes, and even the losing side will receive participation rewards.
Episode Sticker Sets
Unlike previous collaborations, this one is not a single event but rather a multi-week season with a complete storyline. Every two weeks, a brand new original Simpsons story will be released, along with official episode sticker packs. Each pack contains nine Monopoly Go Stickers; collecting the entire pack unlocks exclusive Simpsons-themed decorations and collectibles. However, these stickers are only available for the two weeks following the episode's release.
As the season progresses, new episode packs will be released, bringing with them new sticker packs for you to collect. Players can also repeat episode packs to earn additional rewards, including new decorations for loyal collectors.
For players with limited time, don't worry. Episode packs are optional and won't affect your main album progress; they're simply a fun way to earn more rewards and complete more packs throughout the season.

New Gameplay Mechanics
The new season adds several mini-games, innovating upon classic Monopoly Go games. Details are as follows:
The Simpsons Run
During each episode, a Springfield resident will appear at a free parking spot on your game board. When you arrive there, the board transforms into a character-themed mini-experience, with the board tiles becoming paths to the finish line. The character changes every two weeks, so players can look forward to it.
Regular board tiles disappear as you roll the character-themed dice. You need to avoid obstacles and collect points along the way to the finish line for generous rewards.
Bribe Wiggum
This season, landing on Jail gives you a chance to trigger Bribe Wiggum, a high-risk, high-reward mini-event. You can try bribing Chief Wiggum; if the price is right, he'll let you go and give you a bunch of dice!
Bribing with dice can increase your rewards, but don't take too many risks. If you roll handcuffs, the deal will quickly fail, and you'll end up paying bail. Of course, if you're lucky enough to land on a key, Wiggum will let you leave with all the rewards and a perfect record.
Springfield Monorail
During Monopoly Go x The Simpsons season, Springfield Monorail will replace the regular railroad tiles. Every time you stop on the monorail tile, you'll see some of your favorite Simpsons characters and classic scenes in the classic Shutdown and Bank Heists minigame, complete with carefully crafted visuals and an intro animation.
