The Latest 3.26.0d Patch Severely Nerfs The Tier 16.5 Map In Path Of Exile!
Path of Exile released the latest patch 3.26.0d, which fixes many bugs in the game. However, this patch itself is a huge bug because it severely nerfs Tier 16.5 map.
This patch causes players to have incorrect results for the original map corruption. Specifically, the corruption results obtained by players in the original map corruption modifier are only drawn from the affix pool of the level 17 modifier.
We all know that if Tier 16 map obtains the affix of the level 17 modifier, the player’s income on the map will increase abnormally, leading to an economic imbalance.
Tier 16.5 Map Has Weakened
With Tier 16.5 without multipliers, when there are 132 quanta, the number of scarabs will increase by 0.5 times. The other scarabs in this repaired map will increase by 33% with around 150 quanta. The repaired Tier 16.5 map has extremely high quanta values, for example, when scarabs increase by 26%, the currency increases by 84%.
So the repaired Tier 16.5 map is like a normal Tier 17 map in some places, and like a bad Tier 16 map in some places.
In short, Tier 16.5 map has been weakened by about 45%. This is a considerable weakening of loot acquisition and map returns.
A Series Of Chain Reactions
First, it makes the average level of POE player maps worse. This means that players can get fewer maps on average and there are fewer maps for players to choose from.Second, it greatly reduces the efficiency of players’ map brushing, and players cannot directly brush 100 maps.In addition, the abyss, the blight strat, the coolmech strat, and cool all flame at level 16.5 have also been severely nerfed.
In my opinion, Path of Exile’s latest 3.26.0d patch nerfs Tier 16.5 to the same degree that it has been eliminated, and it will also make Tier 17 maps more expensive to farm.
Tier 17 Maps Will Be More Popular
Tier 17 should be a better value after the patch. Especially since the prices of various equipment, the prices of Path Of Exile Currency, and the rewards obtained are similar to those of Tier 16.5.
In short, Path of Exile’s latest 3.26.0d patch is very bad for Tier 16.5, and the benefits of making it more popular for players far outweigh the disadvantages of making it more expensive for players to farm.
