ARC Raiders' Ultimate Item: Trailblazer Acquisition Guide | Blueprint Location and Crafting Method Guide

In ARC Raiders, Trailblazer is arguably the core item for players battling powerful enemies. Against high-threat foes like Matriach, Bastion, and Bombardier, there's no more readily available Grenades.

These delayed-detonation Grenades release a wide-area explosive green mist, triggering chain damage. They're incredibly effective at clearing swarms of enemies or defeating large ones.

Therefore, it's best to accumulate as many Grenades as possible so you can quickly farm ARC enemies for rewards and enhance your gameplay experience.

However, Grenades need to be crafted at Explosives Station 3. Not only are the materials rare, but obtaining blueprints is also strictly limited. Note that some items require learning their blueprints and unlocking them at specific crafting station levels.

Prerequisites for production

For example, Explosives Station 3 requires different materials to build and upgrade, and the highest level for Explosives Station is Level 3.

Here are the materials and craftable items required for each level upgrade:

Level 1

  • Requirements: 50x Chemicals, 6x ARC Alloy.
  • Crafts: Gas Grenade, Light Impact Grenade.

Level 2

  • Requirements: 3x Synthesized Fuel, 5x Crude Explosives, 5x Pop Trigger.
  • Crafts: Blaze Grenade, Shrapnel Grenade, Snap Blast Grenade.

Level 3

  • Requirements: 3x Laboratory Reagents, 5x Explosive Compound, 3x Rocketeer Driver.
  • Crafts: Heavy Fuze Grenade, Explosive Mine, Wolfpack.

Next, we'll explain in detail all the locations of Trailblazer Blueprints and their complete crafting process.

Location Guide

Trailblazer Blueprints have specific acquisition restrictions; they can only spawn in Night Raids and cannot be found in regular daytime missions.

Furthermore, blueprints only spawn at fixed locations on the three main maps. Many players fail to find them because they are searching the wrong map or haven't located the correct spot.

Below is a detailed explanation of the locations of the three high-probability areas to help you search as needed.

The first acquisition area is Stella Montis, which has two high-frequency spawn points.

One is the Lobby area, especially the blue suitcases near Train Station, opening these has a high probability of yielding a blueprint. The other is Business Center and Business Lounge areas. Suitcases are scattered on the floor and next to the sofas in these areas, so players should focus their search on these locations.

The second area is Blue Gate, where blueprint drop points are more concentrated. Prioritize going inside Reinforced Reception. There is a door on the right side of the lobby below Ziplines. Open it to enter the security zone, find the breachable door, and enter the inner room.

This is the location with the highest probability of Trailblazer Blueprint drops on the entire map. In addition to the blueprint, it can also be found in containers in the security checkpoint zone, though the probability is lower.

The third area is Spaceport, with two main search locations. One is Red Lockers in the trench tower, which require a key to open, or you can use a Zipline and a Grappling Hook to directly access the upper levels of the building; the other is the containers inside the control tower A6 Building, which also have a chance to yield a blueprint.

Note that Trailblazer Blueprint acquisition rules are the same as for the Snap Hook and Tempest Blueprints: it only appears during Night Raids. It won't appear during the day regardless of how you search, so be sure to check the game mode before entering the map to avoid wasting time.

Crafting Method

After obtaining the blueprint, you can start preparing materials to craft Trailblazer. Three materials are needed, each with different acquisition methods.

The first type is the Firefly Burner, which drops from Fireflies roaming the ground. The second is Synthesized Fuel, obtainable in areas like Warehouses and Tech Hotspots, and also directly from Celeste. The third is 2x Crude Explosives, plentiful and found everywhere on the ground, or crafted by Refiner.

In practical use, Trailblazer is significantly more effective. It releases a 2-meter radius explosive green mist, triggering a chain reaction of explosions that deal high damage to cube-shaped enemies and their armor plating, inflicting approximately 20 damage per cube.

When facing giant enemies like Matriarch and Queen, the damage ceiling is even higher; a single Grenade can deal over 3000 damage. This is why Grenades are the most useful item for farming major ARC enemies and a surefire way to solo them and obtain rewards.

For players new to the game, Trailblazer significantly reduces difficulty, especially against large enemies, where its effectiveness far surpasses that of regular Grenades. Furthermore, when facing other players, you don't need to fight them; simply throw the Trailblazer to release smoke.

It's recommended to prioritize obtaining ARC Raiders blueprint in Night Raids by spawning it at the designated locations, then gradually collect materials to craft it. Acquiring this powerful item as early as possible will greatly enhance your gaming experience. Go try it out, everyone!
