What Will The Crossover Between CoD Black Ops 6 And Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bring You?
With the rapid increase in the number of games, sometimes if a game wants to attract more of your attention, it would be a good move to hold crossover events with other games, animations or film and television works.
Obviously, as a series with rich experience in the game industry, Call of Duty has taken this seriously, so after the launch of Black Ops 6 in October 2024, it held several crossovers for the game, including the Korean TV series Squid Game and the American movie Terminator.
In order to maintain the popularity that these crossover events bring, BO6 recently announced that it will launch a new crossover event with the classic comic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) at 9 am Pacific Standard Time on February 20. Based on this, we will provide you with some preview content.
Introduction To TMNT
The creation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can be traced back to the 1980s, and the authors are cartoonists Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. If you are a younger CoD Black Ops 6 player, you may not be familiar with this comic.
The main story of the comic revolves around four anthropomorphic turtle brothers, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, who are trained in ninjitsu. In most versions, they are born from four small turtles who are transformed into human form after contact with radioactive liquid. They then use their new forms to fight evil forces in New York City.
The TMNT series was very popular as soon as it was launched, not only covering print media but also being adapted into various TV series, cartoons, video games and toy products in the following decades. In addition, Black Ops 6 is not the only crossover object of TMNT. Many works, such as Power Rangers and Injustice 2 have cooperated with TMNT and achieved success.
What Highlights Will TMNT Bring To BO6?
This crossover will be launched together with Season 2 remake, bringing you multiple fun. The new Season 2 is dedicated to providing better Zombies and Multiplayer, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event brings new skins, cosmetics, weapons and map-related decorations that can be redeemed with CoD: Black Ops 6 Redeem Codes, in addition to new game modes.

- Leonardo: Provides Tracker, Ghost, Vigilance, and Cold-Blooded perks, and lets you navigate the map in stealth mode.
- Michelangelo: Allows you to see operators, equipment, field upgrades, and scorestraks through walls, allowing you to hack enemy equipment and field upgrades.
- Raphael: Drops a pizza box for your team. The player who eats a slice of pizza will deal double damage to enemies for a short period, and also refills ammo and equipment.
- Raphael: Unlimited Shuriken available.
It’s worth noting that you can use iconic weapons from the TMNT in the game mode, especially the weapons used by the four protagonists, such as Katanas, Bo Staff, Nunchaku, and Sais. In addition, the skateboard can be used as a melee weapon to help you complete the TMNT suit.
In fact, the zombie mode also has its own TMNT feature in Cowabunga Cranked: all maps, including Liberty Falls and The Tomb, will show a cranked timer, and you need to defeat the enemy before the timer runs out.
How To Get TMNT Operator Skins?
When the crossover event officially begins, if you want the four new TMNT Operator skins, you’ll have the choice of getting Black Ops 6 Event Pass or a specific Gift Pack. Of course, you can still get some free skins. Other free rewards include two ninja foot clans, as well as some rewards with TMNT characteristics. Although the four TMNT operators are not free, you can unlock Splinter operator through the premium track.
