Jackie Robinson Day Collection is a themed challenge program where players can progress by completing various modes such as Moments, Missions, Showdown, Conquest, and Collections. During the card collection process, you'll earn excellent player cards at key milestones, such as Satchel Paige and Carlos Beltrán, as well as diamond cards and top-tier cards.

So, how can you efficiently complete the collection and earn diamond cards quickly? This guide will start by explaining the specifics of Jackie Robinson Day.MLB The Show 26 Jackie Robinson Day Collection Guide: Fastest Way to Complete & Earn Diamond Cards

Storylines: Negro Leagues

In this MLB 26 update, Storylines: Negro Leagues welcomes three brand-new Storylines: Ray Dandridge, Smokey Joe William, and Willard Brown.

Ray Dandridge is widely considered one of the greatest third basemen in Negro Leagues history, possessing top-tier defensive abilities. His initial overall rating is 88 (Diamond Card), and he is positioned as a third baseman, occasionally able to play second base.

Smokey Joe Williams, who led his team to victory against Chicago American Giants, a team composed of several Hall of Famers, was incredibly dominant on the mound and is also an 88-rated Diamond Card.

Willard Brown is also an 88-rated Diamond Card. His powerful hitting earned him the nickname Home Run Brown. As one of the first players to break down racial barriers in Major League Baseball, he played alongside Hank Thompson for St. Louis Browns in 1947, becoming the first two Black players to compete against each other in Major League Baseball history.

Main Event - Moments

Moments is a special program inspired by the highlights of Jackie Robinson's career, featuring numerous missions for you to complete. You will play as the legendary player in specific historical scenarios, completing designated tasks including hitting, pitching, or base running.

For example, you can play as Jackie Robinson to stolen base, or as Yoshinobu Yamamoto to strike out a crucial blow. To lower the barrier to entry, most Moments are set at Rookie difficulty level.

Jackie Robinson Day Showdown

Jackie Robinson Day Showdown is a special match-up mode that combines draft, hardball, and boss battles, and is the core of Jackie Robinson Day Collection. You need to build a team to challenge a series of levels guarded by Negro Leagues legendary pitchers, and ultimately defeat the final boss - Negro League pitcher Wilber Bullet Joe Rogan - to win generous rewards.

Each level has specific objectives, and fortunately, between levels, you also have the opportunity to choose a special perk, such as increasing the batting attributes of all players in MLB The Show 26, which can greatly improve the success rate of subsequent challenges.

Conquest

MLB 26's newly introduced Conquest mode has its own map themed around the number 42, and is an offline turn-based strategy mode. You need to expand your territory on a hexagonal map using four core actions, ultimately capturing all opponent strongholds. There are four action phases: Attack, Reinforce, Move, and Steal Fans.

Completing these will reward you with premium packs, high-rated player cards, and a large amount of experience points, as well as points to advance your Jackie Robinson Day Collection.

The Quickest Way to Complete The Collection

Completing Collection requires collecting a total of 42 cards. At least 23 of these can be obtained for free, while the remaining cards can be acquired through MLB The Show 26 Stubs in the shop or randomly from card packs.

To quickly gain enough points and collect the most cards for maximum rewards, you can follow this action sequence:

First, in Breaking Barriers Moment, hit a single using the initial Jackie Robinson card. This task is extremely short and is the best way to quickly advance the game.

Next, you need to complete all seven Negro Leagues Storylines. You can choose to skip all cutscenes to quickly complete the game and earn seven diamond cards. However, we still recommend watching all the cutscenes, as the stories are truly engaging.

Next, we recommend challenging Jackie Robinson Day Showdown mode. Here, you can assemble a team, defeat mini-bosses along the way, and quickly obtain 5 player cards. This event is short and offers excellent value for money, while also rewarding you with 20 stars.

Next, you can complete 42 Conquest map, which only has 3 checkpoints. We suggest starting with Dodger checkpoint and setting the difficulty to Beginner, which will allow you to obtain 3 to 4 diamond cards.

Finally, you can head to Jackie Robinson Day Event and complete the remaining planned missions along the way.

In this event, you simply play the game normally, and you'll effortlessly complete a series of simple tasks such as scoring, hitting, stealing bases, and accumulating experience points. This will help you obtain more cards from your packs and effectively advance your game progress.

After completing the three steps above, you should need 17-19 more cards to complete Collection.

Use the free collection tickets earned during the event to redeem the most expensive cards, then filter for suitable cards to sell in MLB 26 market. Use this extra money to acquire the missing, lower-priced cards. This way, you can complete Collection with only 100,000-200,000 MLB Stubs.

Hopefully, this guide will help you complete Collection and obtain the final rewards in the shortest time and with the least amount of money.
