Diablo 4 Solo Self-Found Mode Explained | Developer Interview Reveals Future Plans

    Nov 14, 2025

Recently, the developers of Diablo 4 announced future game development plans in an interview. These new features aim to bring new game content and enhance player experience.

Furthermore, the interview also mentioned the upcoming Solo Self-Found Challenge Mode, sparking heated discussions among players.

Diablo 4 Solo Self-Found Mode Explained | Developer Interview Reveals Future PlansIf you are not familiar with this setting, we will introduce you to the relevant information about this challenge mode next.

Solo Self-Found Mode

This mode might be unfamiliar to players who aren't into MMOs. In fact, many games have this feature, including Diablo 3. However, this is a first for Diablo 4.

As the name suggests, Solo Self-Found Mode requires players to engage in purely solo challenges, completing a series of game progression processes without any external assistance.

In Diablo 4, the core of SSF remains this self-sufficient gameplay. However, specific details are currently unclear, and the specific mechanics may be adjusted based on the in-game settings.

Challenges

Compared to other modes, players must rely entirely on their own efforts to level up, complete quests, and challenge endgame content. Trading Diablo 4 items with other players is prohibited, as is using shortcuts with third-party assistance.

This means you'll need to spend significantly more time building your class than in current modes. If you're unlucky, you may never acquire the most suitable gear or weapon.

Smooth combat and adventure in this mode will depend entirely on a player's ability to acquire Diablo 4 items and progress through the game without external help.

Undoubtedly, Solo Self-Found Mode will test a player's skill, patience, and mastery of the game. Deficiencies in any of these areas will make the adventure difficult.

Target Audience

This mode may not appeal to casual players, but for players seeking excitement and a more competitive gaming experience, Solo Self-Found Mode is worth their time.

By restricting trading and external assistance, SSF mode ensures fairness in the game. Without the advantages and bonuses gained through shortcuts, the game will reflect players' true effort more.

This mode is expected to have an impact on in-game leaderboards. Especially with the return of Diablo 4 Season 11 Tower, this mode, which eliminates highly influential factors, allows players who focus on the game to stand out.

The new leaderboards will reflect players' time, and effort invested in the game.

For players seeking a more challenging and realistic experience, the Solo Self-Found mode is expected to be a major highlight in future Diablo 4. It provides a new option for players who want to prove their skills through pure gameplay.

While the exact timeframe for Solo Self-Found mode is still uncertain, the game's official statement confirms that it will not appear in Diablo 4 Season 11.

If you are interested in this mode, consider joining Diablo 4 now. Familiarizing yourself with its game mechanics and background setting will help you get used to SSF mode more quickly.

Furthermore, in this interview, the official team also hinted at some new content at the upcoming Game Awards, perhaps related to the next DLC. In any case, Diablo 4 is about to enter an exciting new chapter, and it's believed that it will offer players even more interesting content.

ARC Raiders Solo Mode Reviews | Fair Design And Player Cooperation Redefine Extraction Shooters
Donato Greenholt
    Nov 10, 2025

When people think of extraction shooters, they often think of intense duels, a war-torn atmosphere, and tense, stalemate battles. However, in ARC Raiders' solo mode, a different atmosphere emerges.

The game fosters a surprisingly peaceful environment. Most players engage in friendly communication or even team up to defeat ARCs, rather than immediately engaging in combat, with only a few aggressive players making exceptions. While this somewhat contradicts the original intent of shooter games, it can be seen as a new direction for the genre.

ARC Raiders Solo Mode Reviews | Fair Design And Player Cooperation Redefine Extraction ShootersWhy has ARC Raiders' solo mode developed into such a relatively peaceful situation? And what makes it so popular with players? We will provide a detailed analysis below.

Current State Of Solo Mode

Unlike most games where there is a significant difference between solo and team players, players in ARC Raiders' solo mode do not find it difficult to keep up with the game's pace, making it very friendly to players who dislike team play.

Some players who have chosen solo mode have stated that it is certain that challenges and exploration are more difficult in this mode than in a team, as teamwork can solve many problems, but it is sufficient to handle most situations in the game.

Furthermore, the game's design ensures that solo players won't find themselves in unfair matches and provides sufficient resources to help them gain enough power to face challenges. Whether it's scavenging ARC Raiders items, evading patrolling ARC machines, or completing various challenges, players in solo mode can perform well.

Friendly Communication Is Fundamental

ARC Raiders is set in a resource-scarce post-apocalyptic era where humans and robots coexist. Players face not only humans but also ARC machines as enemies.

In addition, the game doesn't separate PvP or PvE modes but merges them, laying the foundation for player communication and cooperation. After all, Arc is a common enemy of all players.

ARC Raiders' chat function and easy-to-understand emotes allow players to quickly understand each other when they meet.

Solo players can use the chat function to seek help, coordinate with other players in battle, and more. This instant communication connects two strangers, allowing them to focus on the same goal and strive to obtain more ARC Raiders items.

For players who prefer not to use voice chat, ARC Raiders offers clear and intuitive emotes. This fun feature allows players to express themselves even when out of each other's sight, ensuring both sides' safety while maintaining communication.

This collaborative approach transforms random solo battles into a memorable interactive experience.

Equal Treatment For Players

The reason ARC Raiders is so popular is its commitment to fairness between solo and team players.

When solo players are matched, the system typically adjusts its mechanics to match them with players of same modes, providing ample time and development space. This avoids encountering team players from the start and suffering unfair ambushes.

This design, which fully considers the differences between solo and team players, ensures an excellent gaming experience for everyone. This balance makes the game easy for everyone, regardless of playstyle.

Furthermore, while the core gameplay revolves around team challenges, solo players can explore the map, search for, and loot ARC Raiders items by planning routes and skillfully avoiding or confronting Arc Machines.

Most notably, weapon damage in the game is primarily designed to target Arc enemies; the damage difference between high-level and low-level weapons is minimal. This means that skill and strategy are more crucial in PvP.

This game balance ensures that players can defeat Arc enemies with powerful weapons while also allowing solo players to compete against teamed players, enhancing the gameplay experience.

Potential Issues

While the current atmosphere surrounding ARC Raiders solo mode is positive, some potential challenges remain.

Traditionally, extraction shooters have targeted players who enjoy intense team-based combat and crave sensory stimulation; therefore, the number of solo players may decrease over time.

A shrinking player base could trigger a vicious cycle: fewer solo players would lead to longer matchmaking times, resulting in further player attrition.

If this happens, the game might abandon solo mode, forcing solo players to face teamed opponents. Undoubtedly, this would undermine the fair experience currently offered by the game.

If the game developers want to develop the solo mode long-term and promote it as a key feature, they need to adopt strategies to retain solo players, such as adjusting the matchmaking system or introducing new solo gameplay content.

ARC Raiders' solo mode has won over players with its balance, ease of use, and unexpected social experience, a rare occurrence for extraction shooters. This unique gameplay makes it an ideal choice for solo players.

While the current peaceful atmosphere and solo-friendly design attract many players, the future of solo mode depends on successfully addressing the potential for declining player numbers.

With appropriate adjustments, ARC Raiders can tap into a new audience in this increasingly saturated gaming market with its distinctive atmosphere; otherwise, this beloved mode risks being forgotten.

Overall, ARC Raiders' solo mode, with its unique peaceful atmosphere and balanced design, offers new possibilities for shooters. Whether this atmosphere can be maintained in the future depends on the choices of the game developers and players, but we can still look forward to its future.

Best Characters To Pull In Genshin Impact Version 6.2-6.3: Columbina, Mavuika, Xilonen And Durin Guide
Cornell Otto
    Nov 06, 2025

As everyone knows, the characters a player owns in Genshin Impact will determine their gaming experience. High-damage characters allow you to quickly defeat opponents in battle, while support characters can heal and provide various buffs, enhancing survivability during adventures.

For new travelers to Teyvat, or returning adventurers, which characters are suitable for the recent versions has become a primary concern.

Here, we'll introduce recommended characters to use and pull for in versions 6.2-6.3. You can selectively pull based on your own character inventory to help you have a smoother adventure in Teyvat.

Best Characters To Pull In Genshin Impact Version 6.2-6.3: Columbina, Mavuika, Xilonen And Durin Guide1. Columbina

The most highly recommended character to pull is Columbina. As a mysterious and beautiful young woman, Columbina sparked countless discussions among players after Genshin Impact released information about Fatui Harbingers.

Although the official announcement hasn't given a precise time for Columbina to appear in the banner, rumors suggest players will use her in Teyvat adventures in version 6.3.

Columbina's unique status and background have garnered her many followers, but her exceptional abilities shine even brighter than her beauty.

We speculate that her role in Genshin Impact will be as a secondary DPS and support unit. Her skills will probably include resistance shred, elemental mastery bonus, and Lunar Reaction damage increase, and she possesses considerable offensive capabilities.

Furthermore, she can team up with existing Nod-Krai characters like Flins and Nefer to increase her Moonsign level and gain additional bonuses. Later, she can be paired with powerful DPS characters like Sandrone and Varka to form teams focused on element reactions.

This means that Columbina is not only suitable for the current Nod-Krai region but can also exert significant power in future versions.

Whether you are a new or returning player, we recommend preparing a certain amount of Genshin Impact Genesis Crystals in advance to obtain Columbina. Especially for new players, this powerful character can help you more easily build a team suitable for the current reaction system, making it easier to solve various events during adventures.

2. Mavuika

Mavuika is currently a top-tier Pyro character in the game, possessing powerful damage output and capable of fulfilling multiple roles including main DPS, off-field DPS, and support. In Genshin Impact, she's practically a jack-of-all-trades.

  • As a main DPS, she synergies well with almost all support characters, allowing free-to-play players to fully utilize her high damage potential, making her a must-have powerful damage core.
  • In Genshin Impact, when paired with characters like Neuvillette, her off-field DPS capabilities are fully utilized. She can continuously deal damage in battle, inflicting heavy losses on enemies.
  • As a support, her strong synergy allows her to complement most offensive DPS characters, providing a damage boost.

For returning players, Mavuika can fulfill different roles in the team. With such high versatility, even if you missed some previous characters, you don't need to worry about not being able to build a strong team. Mavuika can surely surprise you.

3. Xilonen Or Durin

It's confirmed that Xilonen and Durin are banner characters in Genshin Impact version 6.2. Because of the coincidence of the time, players need to carefully consider which character to draw.

Xilonen

Xilonen's skills combine damage buffs and healing, addressing the team's defensive needs and making her the most versatile support in Genshin Impact currently.

Furthermore, her development threshold is extremely low. Players don't need to invest excessive Genshin Impact Genesis Crystals to stack constellations; even a C0 Xilonen can unleash powerful abilities.

Regarding weapons and gear, she can reach her full potential even with only 3-star weapons, and she can adapt to various Artifact Sets depending on the team composition.

This low-investment, high-return character deserves the attention of all players. Xilonen's powerful support abilities are extremely friendly to new adventurers and returning players, making her an essential element for quickly building a team.

Durin

As a new character in Genshin Impact, Durin was immediately considered a powerful Pyro-type character, second only to Mavuika.

He can create excellent synergy with the strengthened Mondstadt characters, and can produce unexpected effects when paired with characters like Mona and Klee.

In the future, he can also be paired with characters like Varka and Alice, presenting players with new team compositions.

Overall, for both new and returning players, the most important thing is to build a team capable of handling the current version of Genshin Impact. The core of character gacha pulls should never be blindly chasing popular characters, but rather choosing characters based on your own team's needs.

Columbina's crucial role in Nod-Krai reaction system, Mavuika's all-around damage output, Xilonen's low-barrier support advantage, and Durin's Pyro potential are all choices that players should carefully consider.

New players can prioritize Columbina and Xilonen to quickly assemble a complete combat team; returning players can choose between DPS and support roles based on the missing positions on their team.

By strategically allocating resources to build a team capable of handling various challenges, you can avoid pitfalls in your Teyvat adventure and unlock more exciting chapters in Genshin Impact.

Diablo 4 Season 11 Best Builds: Top Class Setups And Playstyle Guide
Mikel Skiles
    Oct 30, 2025

Diablo 4 Season 11 is about to launch, and the changes to the season mechanics and the addition of new items may render some previously powerful builds obsolete. After understanding the main updates for the new season, some players may already be considering the best builds for Season 11.

Below, I’ll share some builds that I believe are best suited for Season 11 and how to create them, helping you quickly adapt to the next season. The following order is based on the build’s strength.Diablo 4 Season 11 Best Builds: Top Class Setups And Playstyle Guide

Barbarian

The reintroduction of leaderboards in Diablo 4 Season 11 will make The Tower a popular playstyle in the new season. If you want to achieve a high ranking on the leaderboards, I highly recommend choosing Barbarian.

Barbarian wasn’t as strong as some ranged classes in previous seasons, but D4 Season 11 has increased the base damage of Barbarian abilities, and the revamped Armor, Resistance, and potions in the new season significantly improve Barbarian survivability. This allows Barbarians to climb higher than other classes in The Tower in patch 2.5.0.

Among the many Barbarian builds, I believe Hammer of the Ancients (HOTA) Barbarian and Lunging Strike Barbarian are the strongest.

However, these two builds have a relatively long development cycle because they require many Uniques; you might even need to invest at least one Mythic Unique to reach their optimal strength. On top of that, adding Harlequin Crest, Tibault‘s Will, or Hooves of the Mountain God can further enhance their power.

Of course, for higher honor and more Diablo 4 Gold, this investment is completely worthwhile, isn’t it?

Spiritborn

If you want to improve your early-game monster-killing speed or increase your dodge success rate, I highly recommend continuing to use Evade Spiritborn.

Using Evade, combined with Loyalty‘s Mantle, Wushe Nak Pa, Flickerstep, Temerity, and Shroud of False Death, can basically help you dodge all attacks, making it the best build for players who prioritize a smooth gaming experience.

Season 11 PTR introduced a unique item called Path of Emissary. Equipping it allows you to summon a Core Skill from Primary Spirit Hall after moving a certain distance, and so far, the overall effect seems quite good. If you want to experience this amazing effect, you can try adding this new unique item to your build.

Necromancer

Season 11 Necromancer offers a variety of build options. I’ll provide two great Necromancer builds.

The first is Shadowblight Necromancer. Because it doesn’t require Uniques and has high damage, you can use it in the early season. Later, you can add Ebonpiercer to further enhance its power.

The second is Golem Necromancer, which summoner-focused players can try. The core Unique is the newly introduced Gravebloom in Season 11 PTR, which summons three small Blood Golems with high damage and attack speed. The main equipment for this build includes Blood Moon Breeches, Blight, and Soulrift.

Necromancer is a strong build overall in Diablo 4 Season 11, especially the second build. It boasts high damage output, and the summoned Blood Golems can heal both you and yourself during combat, helping you in situations requiring prolonged battles.

Druid

Cataclysm Druid is very powerful in Diablo 4 Season 11, dealing high damage and being easy to play. You simply need to accumulate Provocation during combat; once you reach the cap, you can use Earthen Bulwark and Cataclysm to enter your strongest state. Then, simply use Maul/Pulverize to maintain Werebear and launch attacks.

The downside of this build is its high difficulty, making it hard to complete in the early season. The main gears required are Melted Heart of Selig, Tempest Roar, Shroud of False Death, Mjolnic Ryng, and Tibault‘s Will. If you have these gears, I highly recommend trying Cataclysm Druid; it’s genuinely fun.

Sorcerer

Sorcerer’s performance in Season 11 PTR was relatively mediocre. I recommend continuing with Esadora Crackling Energy Sorcerer in the new season. While the gear revamp might allow it to unleash the same power as in Season 10, it can still handle some common situations.

This build primarily requires the following gears: Esadora‘s Overflowing Cameot, Tal Rasha‘s Iridescent Loop, and Galvanic Azurite. Note that Shock Skills damage is skill level-dependent, so don’t skimp on your Esadora‘s Overflowing Cameot!

Rogue

Rogue isn’t particularly strong overall, but it’s a decent choice for challenging the early levels of The Tower in Season 11 or farming Diablo 4 Gold. I recommend using Dance of Knives Rogue and equipping the new unique item Death‘s Pavane to boost Dance of Knives damage.

Overall, Dance of Knives Rogue is quite challenging due to its situational nature; however, if the situation is right, it can produce unexpected results.

You might feel a bit weak at first in Diablo 4 Season 11, but don’t worry too much. Once you’re familiar with the changed mechanics and have more Uniques and Paragon Points, you’ll be back to your peak!
